  Nice hike from Montserrat. It's a holy place, the community's reverence for the place is quite visible. Worth a visit.

  A serene and beautiful place. The walk along the cliffside path is easy and offers some of the best views of the Valley. The Santa Cova Fenicular will take you towards here from the Montserrat village. Found the "TransMonstserrat" ticket easy for rides on all the Montserrat Fenicular and Rack railway.

  The way is very nice, but Santa Cova is only a good joke. Small and boaring. Inside the building you will find nothing interesting.

  The cave is wrapped and protected by a small chapel, that seems to be hanging on the cliff. It's a quite nice piece of architecture. Different from most catholic temples, it has a very simple decoration.

  To get there, you must take a trail from the Montserrat Monastery. There is a funicular that covers the steepest part of the trail, but i don't recommend taking it to go down, because it doesn't worth the price. Use it only for going back up, if you're tired. Te trail is ornamented with lots of religious sculptures.

  This is the cave where the Virgin of Montserrat was discovered by local children. Why kids were playing here on the side of a huge cliff is beyond me. Today the cave is covered by a church and is a lovely stroll from the main monastery area. It's a long way down so consider taking the funicular back.
